Halley "Fids' Bodges"

Faced with the lack of a spare part, the wrong kind/size of widget supplied by HQ, unexpected breakdowns, or an unforeseen requirement, fids have traditionally been masters of improvisation, ingenuity and inventiveness. Here we note a few examples:
