Strom and Ness

Herewith some pics of Strom and Ness the cats smuggled aboard the John Biscoe by Colin Johnson at Stromness whaling station in 1960.   Ness produced a kitten in Jim Blackie's cupboard towards the end of the year, but it did not survive more than a day or two.. [22 August 2006 ]
